Hey Brandon. This is perfect. They scammed the scammers. I get an e-mail every month or two inviting me to submit a paper to a conference with very little focus, usually in a great part of the world to take a vacation. They frame it a s a scientific conference, so suppose it is. I mean if they get folks to submit papers/abstracts of their owrk and come together to present them, get a taxt deduction for going to a "professional meeting", get off work as their Chair just thinks they are off at a legitimate conference (always has an impressive name). Plus you get to put it on your CV--cuz they publish the proceedings of the meeting.Perfect opportunity for the pseudo academic and the group getting you to pay tem money to attend this "meeting". Everyone profits of the pressures to publish or perish and the relatively lenient and self regulated academic environment.
